BASIC POND BALANCE

For every two square feet of surface area, you need one oxygenator (anachris), one tadpole and one snail. By the first week of July, sixty percent of the pond surface should be covered with leaves (lilies, hyacinths, lettuce, etc.). There should be two inches of fish for every square foot of pond surface.
